Meet My Family

I have many passions in life and enjoy living out my purpose to help people live the life they were created to live. I was a Student Pastor for 10 years before stepping into the Senior Pastor role at Avenue Christian Church in January of 2020. At our church in the western suburbs of Chicago, we talk about this passion and purpose in this way: "Together, we will help people find new life in Jesus Christ." As great as this pursuit is and as much as I love being a pastor at my church, my greatest joy in life is being a husband and father.​ I married my high school sweetheart, Maria. We've been married since the summer of 2011. We are Chicago suburb kids through and through and are raising our kids to be the same. Our oldest, Nora, and youngest, Max, keep our lives very exciting everyday! We also never forget our sweet Sophie June who is already with her Heavenly Father.​ If I'm not wrestling with my kids or spending time with my wife, I'm rooting for my Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears and New York Yankees. I also love to read, stay active and drink coffee, but who has time to do any of that except drink coffee with little ones in the home!
